2012 in Review

Wasn't I just writing my recap post for 2011? Wow - I'm still in amazement at how fast this year has flown by!

In January I made my 2012 resolutions, and after looking at them today I only completed two, better than none I guess.

In February Nathan and I took a little getaway to Nashville. I also ran a 5K with my uncle and cousin while we were there!

Me, the same little cousin, and my mama went to see the Jason Aldean/Luke Bryan concert in Nashville this month too.  I surprised my cousin with the tickets back in 2011. It was a great show!

 

April was a BIG month for me, Nathan popped the question during a trip to Chattanooga!

 

He completely blew me away with his super sweet proposal, but I'll let your read it for yourself :).

May brought on my little cousins Senior Prom! She also graduated this month too. A lot of momentous occasions for her this year!

In June I took a week off of work and spent the week with my family at the lake. It was so relaxing and much needed after a long year of working without much of a break!

In September Nate and I had our engagement pictures taken! We were both so nervous and it was the first time we'd had any professional pictures of us taken together!

November brought on some more exciting times in wedding planning. I went wedding dress shopping and said YES to the dress!!

December, of course, brought on Christmas and spending lots of time with family.

Overall, I'd say it's been a pretty amazing year! I got engaged, took engagement pictures, bought my dress, and also started doing photography as a little side hobby. Now I can't wait to see what 2013 brings!
