Book Club Friday

It's FFFFFFFFFFRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!

Can you tell I'm excited? I'm so tired, it's unreal. These 8 A.M. Saturday basketball games my sister is having are killing me, this chick needs a sleep in day!

Anywho, it's time for Book Club Friday!

This week I'm sharing "Can You Keep a Secret" by Sophie Kinsella.

Description via Goodreads:
"Meet Emma Corrigan, a young woman with a huge heart, an irrepressible spirit, and a few little secrets: Secrets from her boyfriend: I’ve always thought Connor looks a bit like Ken. As in Barbie and Ken. Secrets from her mother: I lost my virginity in the spare bedroom with Danny Nussbaum while Mum and Dad were downstairs watching Ben-Hur. Secrets she wouldn’t share with anyone in the world: I have no idea what NATO stands for. Or even what it is. Until she spills them all to a handsome stranger on a plane. At least, she thought he was a stranger.…Until Emma comes face-to-face with Jack Harper, the company’s elusive CEO, a man who knows every single humiliating detail about her..."

I'm a big Sophie Kinsella fan. I've read all of the Shopaholic books and adored each and every one of them. So it was no surprise to me when I really enjoyed this book. Sophie has a very unique way of getting her characters into some unreal predicaments and this book had plenty of them, plus hilarity to boot. Her books are few that actually make me laugh out loud. "Can you keep a secret" has intrigue and romance rolled into one, I really enjoyed it. If you are a chic-lit fan definitely give this one a try!
