Remembering 2011

Holy end of year batman!
Can you even believe that 2011 is coming to an end? I honestly believe that this had to be the quickest year ever. Maybe that's what happens when you get older? Who knows.

I'm notorious for always saying at the end of the year that it was nothing great, just same ol' same ol'. Don't we all? I had nothing momentous happen this year, well, you could count being with Nathan for half a decade - I mean that's a feat in itself (love ya babe!). But in the real spectrum of things, it's the "little" moments that make our life complete. The big things only happen once in a while. So for this past year I'm going to look through all the small moments that have made my year.

January
Flippin' Snowmaggedon of 2011 hit with a whoppin' 5 inches of snow.

That much snow is pretty unheard of in my area of Tennessee. It took an hour to get to work that day. Please God don't let us have that much snow again.

March
My mama turned 40!
Yes, I'm 23 and my mama's 40, you do the math. I was the daughter of a teenage mother and turned out just fine. Now for those kids on Teen Mom, I dunno 'bout that.

April
I ran my first 5K!
...and haven't ran one since! Never fear, it's on the agenda for this year!

Nathan and I also took a little anniversary vacation to Pigeon Forge to celebrate 5 years together.
And of course there is no picture of us to commemorate. That boy needs to start taking photos with me, PRONTO!

May
In May I took a two week road trip of a lifetime with my grandparents. We traveled from Tennessee to Arizona up to Nevada and then aaalllll the way back again. I will always hold this trip close to my heart for numerous reasons.

June
Our family (well, actually my Grandparents) got a new addition with this little girl (who isn't so little anymore, she's actually a beast...).
Miss Lady B.

September
Most of my Fall was spent in a blur going here and there to watch my cousin Senior year season Volleyball games.

October
I played photographer for a some of my cousins senior pictures.

November
I pulled an all-nighter to watch Breaking Dawn to be utterly disappointed. Note to self: I'm wwaayy to old to be doing that crap anymore.

December
Nathan and I took another lovely trip to Pigeon Forge for a Christmas getaway.

And last, but not least, spent Christmas with my family!

See my year wasn't anything grand, unless you count that huge trip, because that was pretty huge in my book!

The older I get the more I notice how life isn't about the great big aspects of our life but the small ones, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
